Pure Romance Heart-Shaped Massager

Ok, maybe I'm out of the loop but I'm enthralled by this little heart! Snapping the metal disk and watching the heart change and heat up is breathtaking (word inserted by my 7 year old daughter, who also loves to heat up the heart). We've used the warm heart to rub each other's backs. It is also the perfect size to go under my guinea pig, who has a mammary cyst and needs to sit on a heating pad for ten minutes every day.  Lolly happily sits on the warm heart, which is placed under a wash cloth for it's protection, and munches her carrot or celery. After use, I just throw it in a pan of boiling water for ten minutes and then let it cool on a plate for use again when needed.

Bunchems Review

 Bunchems! Alive!

These are fantastic and kept my child's attention for hours.  They allow for many different options for creativity!

The instructions are easy to follow and give lots of ideas for making different shapes.  The battery powered ball is super fun for making your creations come alive.  My daughter loves how the ball stops moving and then when you bump it, it starts vibrating again.
It's durable too, the whole creation took a dive off of the kitchen table more than once and still worked just fine.

My 6 year old had a blast following the directions to make the puppy and the bird.  She says she is going to make the dragon next!

The Ladybug Game Review

We love this game!
My daughter has been playing this game since she was three.
Now she is six and she still loves to guide her ladybug through the garden!

The most amazing thing about The Ladybug Game is that it was created by a 6 year old girl!  Her first grade teacher taught the class about ladybugs and had the children do a project about ladybugs.  Kylie Copenhagen came up with the idea for this game for her project.

The Ladybug Game is really inventive.  Children learn about the life of a ladybug, numbers and counting and social skills when playing this game.  Instructions are simple for young children.

The game board is bright and colorful.  Your first obstacle is to get past the Praying Mantis without being eaten.  You must also collect 10 aphids to entice the ants to let you pass by them.  First one to pass through the obstacles and make it to the rose garden is the winner.

The playing pieces are super cute little ladybugs. Two boys and two girls with different colors and names to match.

The Praying Mantis Pass gets you past the Praying Mantis so that he doesn't eat you.  If you run into the Praying Mantis without a pass, you go back to start and try again.

Ladybug cards give you either a number of spaces to move or aphids to collect.  If you get a ladybug on your card, you get to go again.

The game comes with a story that explains more about the game and the life of the ladybug.

Pure Romance Miracle Oil Review

Before
To the left is a clear picture of the eczema on my hand.  I have had these small, red bumps for years and have never found a product to remove them, until now!  I used the Pure Romance Miracle Oil every night for a month and the result is below.  Before bed I would take a small amount of the Miracle Oil in the dropper and squeeze tiny drops onto the bumps.  After letting the
After
oil sit for a minute I would rub it in to my skin.  Last, I would apply my normal lotion (right now I am using Aveno, but it varies).  You can clearly see the difference in the pictures!  Comment below if you are interested and need to find a representative of the business. Pottery Cool Review

This stuff is amazing!

My cousin bought my daughter this Pottery Cool pack for Christmas.  She didn't realize that it required the Pottery Cool Studio in order to work properly.  I thought about buying the studio but decided not to for fear we wouldn't use it and it would end up in my bottomless box of crafts in the basement.

I opened the box to find some really weird parts but once I read the directions, it all made sense. We used all the pieces as intended to make a really cute critter (see picture above).  We opted not to make it a bank because it occurred to us that it would be really hard to get the money out since the sculpture is completely closed.  The only difference between ours and one using the studio would be that on the pottery wheel the clay would be a lot smoother, but considering the fact that we didn't have one, I think our end product turned out great.

The kit even includes stencils for all of the other small parts like eyes and ears.  It is practically fool-proof and really fun.  The instructions are easy to follow with helpful pictures.  The clay is dry and ready to paint in 24 hours.  The kit even comes with paint.  I would definitely buy this product again (just maybe not one of the kits that requires the Studio)!

Copper Chef Review

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because I followed the instructions that came with the pan but this is what my eggs look like in the Copper Chef pan. They certainly aren't sliding out onto the plate!

First Blog Post

We recently moved from the city to an 1880's farmhouse on 8 acres off of a two-lane dirt road.  My daughter turned 6 at the end of Novem...
