Homeschool Day in Song Lyrics

A Day of Homeschool in Song Lyrics

When my child freaks out about something small - "It's the end of the world as we know it!"

When the vase is broken and my kids blame the dog - "I know you lie, cause your lips are moving. Tell me, do you think I'm dumb?"

When you want two minutes alone in the bathroom - "Beat it, just beat it!"

It's late afternoon, the baby refuses to nap and the older kids haven't done a lick of schoolwork despite your best efforts  - "Help, I need somebody! Help, not just anybody!"

The feeling I get when I look at Facebook and all the seemingly perfect moms - "Pressure, pushing down on me!"

When the first child trips and skins his knee - "Baby mine, don't you cry."

When the second child trips and skins his knee - "Get up offa that thing, and shake till you feel better!"

When my husband comes home and takes over the children so I can have a break - "Did you ever know that you're my hero?"

The single moment when all of the kids are sitting at the table, quietly working on projects - "Silence is golden."
