As I'm looking up how to keep a goat from head-butting on my phone I catch my daughter sparring with Copper, our buck! I think it's hopeless, LOL!

Homeschool Day in Song Lyrics
A Day of Homeschool in Song Lyrics
When my child freaks out about something small - "It's the end of the world as we know it!"When the vase is broken and my kids blame the dog - "I know you lie, cause your lips are moving. Tell me, do you think I'm dumb?"
When you want two minutes alone in the bathroom - "Beat it, just beat it!"
It's late afternoon, the baby refuses to nap and the older kids haven't done a lick of schoolwork despite your best efforts - "Help, I need somebody! Help, not just anybody!"
The feeling I get when I look at Facebook and all the seemingly perfect moms - "Pressure, pushing down on me!"
When the first child trips and skins his knee - "Baby mine, don't you cry."
When the second child trips and skins his knee - "Get up offa that thing, and shake till you feel better!"
When my husband comes home and takes over the children so I can have a break - "Did you ever know that you're my hero?"
The single moment when all of the kids are sitting at the table, quietly working on projects - "Silence is golden."

Farm Day
We hosted a Farm Day at our place for the Homeschool Group we belong to and had a blast!
This is Peep Peep, the baby duck that we rescued from the egg.
This is Peanut Butter, she is supposed to be a Holland Lop.
Here are a couple of the kids gathering eggs with one of the chickens supervising.
Feeding the goats is everyone's favorite activity (including the goats)!
Another picture of goat feeding.
The children also threw the crust from their sandwiches to the ducks and chickens after lunch.
We have wonderful neighbors who let us visit their horses through the fence. The little one on the right is only 4 months old. When I told the children we were going to pet a baby horse they didn't believe that she was the baby. They were expecting something smaller!
Feeding grass to the horses.
Everyone together, enjoying the farm.
The Stud wanted some grass to eat, too!
Running through the tall grass back to the picnic area.
